We decided it was time to build a carport for our cars, but didn’t want the usual eyesore. We wanted an architectural gem, something that would make us smile every time we drove up. We also wanted to build a workshop that would relate to the house and carport, and we didn’t want these new buildings to block our views.
We depended on Will to help us realize our vision, to take our initial ideas and create something truly wonderful, and he did. From the curving, undulating retaining walls that flow along the hillside to the vaulted, sky lit ceilings of the carport and workshop, we are thrilled with the design. Our carport is so nice we use it to entertain!
We were also faced with the challenge of running the gauntlet at Sonoma County Permit & Resource Management Department, which was immensely frustrating. Dwelling Resources was instrumental in streamlining the process and we were able to avoid considerable costs with their help by obtaining a septic waiver. Without that waiver we would not have been able to build!
Will listened to us and delivered what we wanted. We would recommend Dwelling Resources to anyone.
