Lafayette Residence

This project was a collaboration between Dwelling Resources and the client, who wished to transform a very dated California ranch style house into something beautiful. There were a number of design iterations as needs and budgets changed, but Dwelling Resources was able to accommodate every change, and enthusiastically assisted the owner during construction, who did the work himself. Dwelling Resources also worked closely with Moore Design Group, who was responsible for the interior design.

BEFORE                                AFTER

Stucco, aluminum windows, and shallow hip roof were replaced with details that nod to craftsman homes. Ledgestone wainscot and mahogany doors add to it’s elegance.

The rear facade was dressed up as well, and the new addition looks out to a private patio, an outdoor room that is an extension of the house.

Recessed ceilings add height to the entertaining spaces, and cove lighting adds to the ambiance.

The master bath with his and hers vanities. Vanity design and bathroom finishes were provided by Moore Design Group.
